The Ellis story begins in 1912 with one woman, Ada Ellis. After designing and making her own wedding dress, Ada opened her own atelier in London, where her talent for design quickly earned her a devoted following. She wasn’t just creating dresses – she was creating moments, one wedding gown at a time. From these beginnings, Ellis grew to become one of the very first bridal brands in the world.
Every Ellis dress is a true labour of love. Designed in our London studio, each piece is the result of a meticulous creative process. From the first sketch to the final stitch, our dresses are made with precision, artistry, and care.
